Stay away from debates on religion.. Just look around you at your friends who belong to different castes, communities and religions..Â

Problem is with the need to feel like living in the best country in the world. Why do we need that at all..that race makes us so image conscious we start pushing real problems under the rug so the world can't see it. I'm fine with living in the 135th best country in the world as long as my country honestly acknowledges its problems and does something to fix them.

If you copy pasted this from somewhere, fine. But all those things you listed in the first part of your post, those are actually happening in India. Not a creation of social media. Maybe social media exaggerates certain issues sometimes. But those problems are real as feck.
