Welcome to 2WapWorld. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website. Please read this privacy policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, please do not access the site.
Your email address is stored only so that we can:
Other members can't see your email address or search for it. Administrators and moderators can see it in their staff tools and search by it, to help with account problems and abuse.
You can change your email address at any time in your account settings. Without a working address we can't send you a password reset link.
Your profile has an optional "Age / sex / location" box. Whatever you type there is shown on your profile, unless you choose "Hide my ASL" in your privacy settings. You can change or clear it at any time when you edit your profile. We don't ask for your exact location.
Accounts made on the original 2WapWorld may still hold a date of birth, a real name, a phone number, or an address book of people emailed through the old site's email service. Today's site doesn't ask for these, show them or use them for anything. Email us (address below) and we will remove them.
If you turn on alerts, your browser gives us an address at its own push service (run by the browser maker, for example Google for Chrome, Mozilla for Firefox or Apple for Safari). We store that address and your browser's name with your account, and send your alerts through that service. The alert itself is encrypted so that only your browser can read it, but the push service can see that an alert was sent and when.
Turning alerts off deletes the address. If you block notifications in your browser instead, we delete it when the push service tells us it no longer works.
We collect IP addresses for security purposes and to prevent abuse of our services. This information may be used to:
