Ragnorak: There are already nearly 2 million Syrian refugees living in Turkey and another 2 million again are staying in other regional countries such as Iraq and Egypt. Because of the huge numbers seeking shelter in those countries it means the conditions are generally poor, and so what we're seeing in Europe is an overspill effect because the fresh refugees know there is no more room for them in their own region.
Those neighbouring countries with the 4 million refugees are not particularly rich and so the EU should provide them funds and manpower so they can accommodate more families seeking shelter, and that way they won't have to make such a perilous journey.
i dont think we can fully comprehend that number of people , and what it means to be displaced.
