How do u dump a friend? Do u just stop talkin to them? Cross the road when u see them, pretend not to see them when they wave at u? Pick a fight nd storm out? tell them u are dyin and then disappear after a few weeks and get someone to go pack up ur house? I am lookin for original ideas on how to dump a friend who has no more value to me... Its hard for me and very sad but i need to do it... smiley

You've got two options , either to be frank and state your reasons or slowly break the contact with person. When someone calls you and you pick up the phone but you never text or call back , they'll know something has changed.

There is no elegant or clever solution as far as I am concerned. It is like removing a bandage, do it in one smooth motion. Be frank and forthright, that way you need not worry about it returning to haunt you at a later stage. And instead of crossing the street to avoid said someone, toying with the idea of moving to another town and changing your name you can keep your life as is and simply get on with things.
