outlaw: Okay I got the context. It's from a 2009 protest against Indian independence day held in Fremont, California. Yes they are insulting the Indian flag. But they are protesting peacefully within the confines of US law. The law in America allows flag desecration as a form of symbolic speech. They are not destroying property or setting people and vehicles on fire, or holding signs that wish death on people. Flag desecration isn't that big of a deal in the US apparently. So the protest goes unnoticed. If this happened in India, it would have made news. Would media make it a bigger deal if this guy was a muslim? May be. So what? It would actually help Islam's image if pictures of muslims holding peaceful demonstrations like this one get publicized. Instead, all we get is people doing crazy things and breaking all kinds of laws. Another difference is these sikhs are not offended by some cartoons. They are protesting the denial of justice to victims of the 84 genocide.

Do you often feel embarrassed when you've misunderstood what someone had said, or does your ego spring in to action and deny the fact that you've misunderstood?
