2 Peter 1:1 . . . our God and Savior Jesus Christ: St. Paul uses the same phrase in Titus 2:13 as well.

"Jesus is God" well, the Bible does call Jesus God, even a mighty God. But should that stumble you? What does the word "God" mean? From English, it is a super human being with Devine powers even over nature's forces. Jesus proved himself to be just that. By the way, did you know that Jesus is not the only being referred to as God in the Bible? Even Satan himself is called the God of this world. What am trying to say is, their are many gods and many lords of which Jesus, the second greatest being in the universe can not be ignored. Jesus is not greater or equal to his creater. Jesus is not the almighty God.
