Yes thats true with Hindutva. Its just a ideology.. But Hinduism is one of the oldest religion with no founders known till date if i m not wrong.

saahir: HINDUTVA is the name Bhartiya Sanskriti, not name of religion, being an Indian I am Hindu. But I follow ISLAM as my religion. The big population of Indians who call themselves Hindu, they actually follow Sanathan Darm. But unfortunately most of them do not know even basic teachings of SANATHA DHARM. SANATHAN DHARM's basic teachings are most close to the teachings of ISLAM.

its interesting to know that you practice Islam.

Here I dint discuss old or new. Islam teaches monothism same teachings as we find in Vedas n Upnishad. If u study Vedas & Upnishad, then u wud b able to understand "what is SANATHAN dharma and what are the teachings of Islam.

To understand true religion "HIDUTVA" one shud study 'VEDAS' and 'UPNISHADH'. There u wud find what the ppl follow now is not according to their own true scriptures. It is also agreed by their own great scholars and learned personalities.
