Previously hidden mass graves were found at Treblinka. Forensic archaeologist uncovers human remains using ground penetrating radar in order to respect Jewish law. New evidence has been uncovered helping prove that the World War II Nazi Treblinka was in fact a death camp, and not just a Transit Camp.

Mass graves at the site of the camp were uncovered by British Forensic archaeologist Caroline Sturdy Colls, who used ground penetrating radar to search for human remains. By using radar she managed to locate a large number of human remains buried in mass graves.

The lack of wealth physical evidence of mass extermination at Treblinka has in the past been used by Holocaust denies, something researchers hope the new findings will make more difficult.
