Allah / God Are They the same entity? What is ur opinion... Bearin in mind that Jesus is the begotten Son of God to Christians (most) Now i don't want to know which religion is right or wrong... Knowin what u know abt Allah and God, do u say or think that they are the same One... I welcome Atheist and other Beliefs views too... muslims shud all answer yes 2 this 1... Think with jesus being one of their prophets. and the same as watever the jews call God too. Ppl forget jesus was jewish by birth... Enjoy posting... No insulting... please keep it clean? No off topic!

_dreamprince_: Do u think only 2books r there in this world? Only bible and quran ?
I never said this ? y r u going off topic ??? topic is related Allah/god is same or not ? which was already answered before.... u said that bible said as Quran b4 the revelation of Quran ? which I replied in last post that bible was no there at the time of prophet Mohammad s.a.w. and previous book which u are referring was Injeel and not bible. that s y word Bible is not there in Al- Quran as well as in Bible itself. This challenge is not by me nor its new. but till today no Christian answered this.

Lemon: love how people focus on that which divides but ignores that which binds. the basic jist of it all religion is "be a good person" the rest is just commentary and symantics ... so to answer the initial question the islamic belief is that 3 religions sprung from the same singular God (judaism, christianity and then islam) christianity doesn't factor in islam for the simple fact that islam wasn't around when the bible was written but believes judaism is the precursor to it. the jewish torah doesn't mention either christianity or islam because again neither religion existed at the time so whether He is the same God or not is a matter of perspective and so the answer is also a matter of perspective. in other words there is no one objective answer.
thanx for info...

I think Islam is a bad copy of Judaism. No offence... So badly copied that Ishmael was to be sacrificed instead of Isaac. the arabs needed a religion, so they went with Ishmael. Isaac was however to be sacrificed 2500 years before Ishmael. One would think the fact that Islam is 2500 years younger than Judaism with the same characters and scenarios would open the eyes of Muslims. So yes, same God in a way.

ALLAH is an ARABIC word  "AL" is as in English language we use "The" to specify a common word or a common noun..  For an example when we speak about a particular person, we add a word "The".  The person means we are discussing about a person, previously we mentioned.  In arabic language, "ILAHA" means GOD. When AL is attached before it, it becomes AL ILAHA.  But as per grammatical rules, it is written ALLAH. In English language it will be translated, The God.
