Arise ye country
arise o nation
awake from your sleep
the heart beat of africa
stand up Nigeria
and let's remould you as Nigeria again
let it be the dream it use to be,
let it be the pioneer on the plain.
Seeking a home where he himself is free.
Why has it never been free for men before.
Let Nigeria be the dreams the dreamers dreamt
let it be that great strong land of love & caring.
Where unity & peace will always abide
where never kings connive nor tyrant scheme.
That any man be crushed by one above
let justice reign in you.
O, my land bring out the virtue in you.
O my Nigeria,
o my dream
where liberty is crowned with
no false patriotic wreath,
rise up to be the land
of free and fair politics.
O, ye leaders lead our
country aright.
Let every men be of high opportunity
and let life be free,
equality is in the air we breathe
the poor breath in the air the rich breath,
so, let all be treated in the same mode,
let the masses be happy.
This land has never been equal for men,
nor freedom is this "homeland of free".
Let put away corruption
and let all put on the gown of
integrity.

2010/12/16 14:02if i could win two weeks holiday there, i would think im being banned from society and send there for punishment...i would have to face the mosquito's and crime, the heat and damp equator heat, what did the kings win when they got it for free/noresistance

2010/12/16 14:13i would say, to be fair, one should undo everythng that was done wrong to nigeria..
And in return, nigeria would return to its dreamstate, guarded by its famous misquitos kinda flip a switch back into the dark-ages, when men was men, and they ran away..

2010/12/16 14:15problem is that people want to create their own history, and they never take part in it themselves, always others that caused them to be who they are...the only thng that stay was crime.

2010/12/16 14:192000 years ago there was written history in other parts of the world...the history that some folks are unhappy about is that wich was recorded by other cultures, and now they get unhappy for not being what?....i m happy the word integrity was mentioned...

2010/12/16 14:41why dont you use democracy to choose a leader that represent the people...that is what other countries do. The Romans gave us that lesson, and they had beautiful cities 2000 years ago...we use that knowledge today.
