TheMouse: U've raised a good question there, I think. I know, many ppl here say, look around and you can see evil - that is, however, not a logical conclusion. It's like saying that sound around us proves the existence of music - if we didn't perceive, or interpret, certain characteristics of what we hear as music there wouldn't be any, only sound. Similarly, we disapprove of attitudes and actions which to us are undesirable, and if they are VERY undesirable we have the label evil for either the action, attitude, or the person. It doesn't 'prove evil', it's just a psychological way of dealing with something. In today's societies, the word also has, to me, a ring of false moral, self righteousness and lynch mob culture to it, so I don't actually use it in my daily vocabulary; it has, in its modern context, deteriorated into a nonsense word.
