Instal antivrs in pendrv

Any1 ever try tis, Installing antivirus in removable disk/pendrive? smiley Can the antivirus work well in scanning the cmptr in depth if it is in pendrive not in d internal hard drive/disk? -nature- Is it possible 4 d antivirus 2 update 2 if it is in d pendrive? -volly- Thanks.

Yeah, u can do it. . . . . . .just copy d antivirus folder in program files, and copy it to pendrive. . . . Afterthen go to registry editor(regedit) and then local machine, export d registy entry of dat antivirus in pendrive. . . . . . Now u can use it any pc/lappi. . . . U just hav 2 import dat registry entry. . . . Dat can be maxgimum of 5 kb. . . . . Try it. . . .

i follow ur steps exactly but it didnt work smiley i think i have 2 copy other folder of d antivirus other than in d program and d registry is around 40kb

which executable file u had clicked to run dat antivirus. . . . . . . ?and which antivirus u use? ? ?

its d way any OS works. . . . .coz os needs registry entry 4 s/w to run. . . .its doesnt matter s/w files is in ur pc hard disk or not. . . . . . . .u can do same 4 any s/w. . . . . . . .

Yawz ever try it with vbs autorun N small anti virus in flash disk. N work but that pc anti virus detect my autorun.inf as virus smiley

Not all antivirus apps can run thru USB drives. Enrique enlightened the installation on USB drive part, though (let me get simple) a PORTABLE antivirus app cannot be created by simply copying files from program files and playing with registry. In most cases antivirus app wont run without suitable virus database which is usually copied in application data folder in my documents (HIDDEN).
