using system restore, ive upgrade my xp sp2 to sp3 having many problems with sp3, i decided to use system restore to see if it will help, my restore point was before i upgraded to sp3, after using system restore the pc automatically restart, and here is the problem it just keep doing it without getting to the welcome screen, when i start it in safe mode it gets to the welcome screen wher the user accounts are, when i click on my account it just loads and save the settings and then im stuck by user accounts and i tried to do it as a other user but it still doing the same , can any 1 help plz

Hmmph... Complicated crash system smiley just can give opinion, reinstal u windows sp2

try changing date in ur bios n see if it works

no no, the author actually meant that after applying sp3 some problems came up and did system restore neverhless, run registry cleaner or preferably wise registry cleaner 1st. if still problem then format drive C and install fresh xp sp3 {i find no problem with the december version} or install latest assasin version that is posted to gain in ram and play games smoothly! , and then run registry cleaner. uninstall most recently installed apps in other drives and run antivirus and antispyware smiley

Freshly install your sp 2. May loose your data tho if they are in the same partition.

The issue's that your boot files are corrupt. so run repairs

Format and do a fresh installation. Update your bios as well.

sounds 2 me like boot files are corrupted. run repair from xp cd and type fix mbr and fix boot. uninstall service pack 3 from control panel, add/remove programs. update via internet dnt use a disk ive come accross a disc thats corrupted many a times.

I am asking u one question, how can u upgrade ur XP from sp2 to sp3...?? I think that , when u upgraded ur xp it might had loss some dll files..Try to reinstall the OS...Thats the only way i think...
