I knew about it but didn't participate cause in our locality we experience power cuts everyday for atleast once in summer. Also each session lasts 4 more dan 1 hour. So technically we observed earth hours more than anybody else here.
also switching off ur lights only for meagre 1hour in 365 days seems more like a joke 2 me than a human contribution when we using up million times more on the other days.
