#2 Even if it is there, I would never use free basics, it is clearly profit motivated based programme for Internet.org. It hampers net neutrality big time.

Glad, you know this. Modi Govt wants control on internet, especially during riots and elections. just to make sure, world doesnt come to know anything through social media.

So imagine it grows to a 100 million and facebook is the only one to decide which sites or services are part of its program then no one will use the paid services outside the circle, also imagine the advertising revenue from this.
