there r many tournaments conducted all over the world..ranges from age catagories to adults. least age catgory is under 5 !!!! in open and seperte tuornamehts for women too

GM Abhijeet gupta in sole lead aftr 6 rounds in commonwealth chess championshiop. GM deep sen is trailing him by half point and bunch of 6 players are furthr half point behind on points. unfortynaty one of the strngest woman GM Koneru Humpy withdrew from d cimpetetion

i once met GM Deep sen at the chess board ( he was IM dat time ) in commonwealth 2007. i won dat game playing black side ..
