A nuerologist says that if he can get to a stroke victim within 3hours he can totally reverse the effect of stroke. The trick was getting a stroke recognised,diagnosed and then getting the patients medically cared for within 3hrs which is tough.
Recognising a stroke:
Sometimes symptoms of a stroke are difficult to identify. Unfortunately,the lack of awareness spell disaster. The stroke victim may suffer brain damage wen ppl nearby fail to recognise the symptoms of strokes.
Eg: You are with ur fren but suddenly she feel giddy n fell down n immediately stand up n resumed back wat she is doing n she look normal but after few minutes she went home n within 3hrs u heard the news that ur fren is death.
Now doctors say a by stander can recognised a stroke by asking three simple question:
S. Ask the individual to SMILE
T. Ask the person to TALK n speak a simple sentence (coherently) i.e Chicken soup.
R. Ask him/her to RAISE BOTH ARMS.
If he/she has trouble with anyone of these task,call emergency no immediately and describe the symptoms to the dispatcher.

Note:Another sign of stroke is this. Ask the person to stick out its tongue,if the tomgue is crooked,goes to one side or the other that is also an.indication of stroke.
