Allah / God Are They the same entity? What is ur opinion... Bearin in mind that Jesus is the begotten Son of God to Christians (most) Now i don't want to know which religion is right or wrong... Knowin what u know abt Allah and God, do u say or think that they are the same One... I welcome Atheist and other Beliefs views too... muslims shud all answer yes 2 this 1... Think with jesus being one of their prophets. and the same as watever the jews call God too. Ppl forget jesus was jewish by birth... Enjoy posting... No insulting... please keep it clean? No off topic!

We all believe in something and we all think that our belief is right one .... I believe that there is no god except Allah, which is confirmed in the Noble Qur'an in Surah Al-Ikhlas: "In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. Say: He is Allah, the One and Only; Allah, the Eternal, Absolute; He begetteth not, nor is He begotten; And there is none like unto Him."

Great question jacki and i will try to answer you cos i understand the logic in your question. I hope you understand too. Allah (Muslim God) and God (Christian God) is the same, thus they are One. The Christians say that God had a son (Jesus), but the muslims say that Jesus was a prophet and messenger of God (Allah). But God and Allah are still the same. Why? Allah took responsibility in the qur'an of all that the christians earlier said about 'God'. These are some verses to prove my claim. Quran 29.46 ''Be courteous when you argue with the people of the book (christians and jews), except with those among them who do evil. Say: we believe in that which is revealed to us and which was revealed to you. Our God and your God is One. To Him we surrender ourselves.'' qur'an 2.116 ''and they (jews, christians and pagans) say: Allah (God) has begotten a son. Glory be to Him(exalted be He above all that they associate with Him). Nay, to Him belongs all that is in the heavens and on earth and all surrender with obedience (in worship) to Him. I hope i'm clear enough

_Mr.RaO_: here in ur post,, why do u think only ALLAH IS GOD,, Allah took responsibility in the qur'an of all that the christians earlier said about 'God'.

Why would the same god send different books to get his word out? It's like he can't make up his mind. I know of two books, the bible and the quran. Now I know that the mulims say the bible got corrupted through time. But no where in the bible did it say to pray 5 times a day. And that's just one example of the differences. So what's with this one and same god who can't make up his mind?

About corrupt bible smiley Belive it or not ! THE WORD BIBLE IS NOT THERE IN THE BIBLE smiley if anybody is able to show me THE WORD BIBLE IN THE BIBLE i will award him/her with one lack us dollars.

Finally, the word god has plurals and genders. Word God can be used for more than one GOD as Hindus belive. Krishna as God Rama as God laxman as God and so on goes to 330000000 Gods smiley now word Allah cannot be used for more than ONE AND ONLY ONE ALLAH TO WHOM MUSLIMS BELIVE AS NOT GOD smiley BUT ALLAH swt. Did anybody ever heard that this is also Allah and this is also Allah ? No. But we had heard that Rama is also God, jesus is also god and bhrahma is also considered as god. Here you can decide yourself that how unique is word Allah infront of God.
