The meaning of sis

Whats the full meaning of sis and phones it can work with?

SIS is an acronym that stands for Software Installation Script. It is an installation file for Symbian OS, and not an application file, as sometimes believed; the real Symbian application is the .APP or .EXE file within it. *-> [topic=1852930] Visit here for Symbian Details[/topic] *-> [topic=1596760]phone that supports sis files[/topic] Note: S40 phone doesnt supports sis files.
