Not Forever

He said he'd love me forever; I gave a mild kiss on his forehead. He said he'd love to be with me forever; I held his hand and gave him a smile. He said he would like to stay with me forever; I smiled and put my head on his shoulder. He said I'd be the one for him forever; I touched his face and gave him another smile. Except... He and I we both know that forever is not ours. We will not be holding hands forever - someone will have to let go. We will not love each other forever - someone will have to stop.
