What is self-discipline?

Is self-discipline a b0on or a bane? Is it a blessing or a curse? D0es it curtail or stifle one's freed0m of choice? As l0ng as people live together, discipline is necessary and there can be n0 discipline without restraint. This restraint is necessary to safeguard and guarantee one's freed0m. Without discipline or restraint, the inevitable result will be "might is right", in which the str0ng, powerful, influential, and the wealthy will exploit the weak and the po0r. It means to eliminate license or false freed0m, i.e., the freed0m to do whatever I want, anytime I want, anywhere I want, and wit whomever I want-which means lack of self-discipline.
