Everywhere in the world has different mode of bills payment by both gender whom are about to marry or already married... Lemme give instances, some culture in south/Africa if both family are rich could come together and contribute toward successful marriage ceremony of their wards In Nigeria, its a must mostly for the groom family to pay the pride price or dowry to the bride family and afterwards the man accept full responsibility of wife and kids including all bills unless the wife could give a helping hands.... Contrary to aforementioned, during my childhood, I learnt that in India, its the bride family that does the payment of bills to groom family which I found absurd and willing to learn from people of different part of the world here....
