once Mikhail Tal(former world chess champion) used all possible means to keep his opponent away from castling in a game, only to remember in the end that his opponent's king already moved twice earlier on !!

during a game once great Victor Korchnoi approched to arbiter only to confirm that if his opponent as white can castle queen side, as b1 square is controled by black?

First world chess champion W.Stenitz, playing a game employed a deep hidden combination on his opponent but his opponent disappointed him as he didnt turned up and went home without actually resigning. than Stenitz attracted the viewers and showed how game shud go if his opponent had tried to play further,the possible continuation till the end.

I WAS CHIEF ARBITOR IN AN TOURNSMENT IN DELHI. IN 1997 OR 1998, An intresting incident took place between two players in their game.

once in an international open tournament at Ahmedabad in INDIA I was playing against a Nigerian international master ranked player. the game oped in ruy lopez game .I was white ,I tried all means to prevent his development of Queen side Knifht. .he finally moved hia Knight to e7 but incidentaly that was last move of his in that game and after my reply he resigned.
