India New Delhi, Dec 13: In another depressing case from the national capital, a 7-year-old girl was brutally gang raped by three men suspected to be from her locality. The victim is currently admitted in Delhi’s AIIMS hospital. Police have begun investigation in the crime, and nabbed one of the suspects who is a juvenile. Preliminary probe suggests that rape was committed in the evening on Saturday somewhere between 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. The girl was playing in a park close to her home in South Delhi’s Tigri area. The 7-year-old was kidnapped by three men and taken to a nearby isolated park where she was gangraped. The miscreants left her bleeding in an unconscious manner. As locals began searching for the victim, she was found in the park laying in the park. Immediately, she was rushed to AIIMS medical care unit. Delhi Police nabbed one of the accused late night on Saturday. The suspect was revealed to be 16 years old. Local MLA Prakash Jarwal accused the Delhi Police for the growing insecurity of women in his constituency. “I have visited the family. The main accused has been arrested, while police are looking out for other accused. Police can stop such incidents, but I am sorry to say that such incidents are increasing.
