there is penalty of room to improve at chess bye analysing ur finished games..this is what the top players do to improve...by analysing own games as wel as other players games too. this idea of analysis gives birth to new concept n known as Novelty in chess lierature..

Indeed, many sports professionals benefit from analysing replays of their matches, directly or indirectly through coaching, and in no field is this more apt than in chess. Sometimes a position can have the potential for so many possibilities, and richly deserve to be explored through analysis. That's something easily possible here as a new board can be made from any poisition.
I did nd improved lot from this way. I introduced a new idea in two variations , one in French milner berry vsaristion ,which was approved by my English friend GM davies, another idea was in Sicilian pelican from black side nd approved by many top ranked players nd they follows it,
