This statement means that your prayer was not direct.In a brief, you have prayed to Jesus through Jesus which is abit confusing.During his earthly time, Jesus instructed us to pray this way "…Our Father in the heavens, Let your name be sanctified." Mat 6:9 In this case, Jesus was still on earth and telling us to pray to the one in heaven, the father.His name is Jehovah as identified in the bible.When you pray, pray therefore to Jehovah God and then through Jesus Christ.Make sure to atleast include Gods name in your prayer.
