Nothing wrong with the actual Chinese brands, even if they are less cool. Those that are imitations of phones of other brands are usually poor though as not everything works properly.
Eeprom: fake brand 
i had a fake nokia n95 once looked great but could do nothing the genuine nokia 95 could apart from make calls , and was probably made of recycled toxic waste

To be fair some the ones on eBay now look pretty good and are great prices
