I ran so fast forgetting myself behind Engaged in other peoples businesses not building on mine Correcting others while I knew none Gossiping for me was fun Dont blame me I thought that was fine I was hiding behind the needle Covering my eyes thinking I am hidden But I was naked like that couple in the garden of Eden I never knew I was wasting the oxygen that I am given; ego and self appraisal in this life gave me a reason A reason of not knowing I am dreaming and leaving those around me suffocating I was before myself behind In this fashion of life I was forward while moving on rewind Having no vocal cords expecting a sound Do you blame me I was confound In a class of fools I received a crown Round that in multiples of sevens that's dumb.
