New Wi-fi emitting bulb.
A group of scientists at shanghai's Fudan university have a bright idea. A light bulb that produces its own Wi-fi signal. According to Xinhua,the technology is called Li-fi, and the prototype actually works better than the average connection in china..Also many as four computers place near a Li-fi bulb can connect to the internet,using light frequencies rather than the usual radio waves.The bulb is embedded with microchip that produces a signal,yielding rates as fast as 150 mbps,far faster than typical connection speeds.
Note that Wi-fi and Li-fi are invented in china.

I read about it but there are alot of challenges they are facing like if the light doesnt reach you the transfer will stop.

Can internet be seen or you meant to say areas having poor connection?

The internet by LiFi is crappy for current (nornal)use however equip a shed with internet shared by Efi users would be god , eyefi is a new connection type that uses exist or new lighting and switching it to create the 1's and Zeros.

Lifi is faster thn wifi but penistration is sooo less. So you can use lifi in other room
