The mirror consumed the empty reflection
delicate in its way
the gas kept flowing through the Open staircase
there was nothing I could say
She had said she would not listen
to anything I would say
Invisible barriers were built
to let her have her way
I felt in the darkness for her hand
and fell through
The despair and panic
nothing I could do
I sought out her boss in the darkness
You have been robbed, she will die
He found the keys in his hands
with no reasoning why

Shed be with me as one
She deserves a life of joy
a life full of fun
He was nodding
unaware of my presence
and headed towards work
with a mounting vengeance
He ripped up the brake
and slammed through the door
gas pouring out
her on the floor
Picking her up
He carried her out on the road
His whole body shuddered
as he saw it explode
Everything was lost
had burst into flame
his business, his life,
his mindblowing shame
For he had fallen for her
the widow in black
he held her close
so I couldnt take her back
