Here is a story which hold up a young situation hunters a mirror of correct deportment. A gentleman once advertised for a boy to assist in his office n nearly fifty applied for the post. Out of all the numbers he chose one n sent all the rest away. ' I shud like to know ' said a fren ' on wat ground u chose that boy, he had not a single recommendation with him'. U r mistaken' said the gentleman' he had great many- he wiped his feet wen came in, n close the door after him- showing that he is orderly n tidy. He gave up his seat instantly to a man- showing that he was kind n thoughtful. He took pf his cap wen he came in, n answered my question promptly n respectfully- showing that he was polite. " He lifted up the book which i had purposely laid on the floor, n placed it on the table, while all the rest stepped overit, or pushed it aside- showing that he was carefully. And he waited patiently for his turn,instead of pushing the other aside- showing that he was modest. When i talked with him, i noticed that his clothes wrre carefully brushed, his hair in nice order, n teeth as white ads milk. " When he wrote his name i observed that his fingernails wrr clean, instead of being tipped with jet,like the handsome little fellow in blue jacket. Dont u call these things letters of recommendation?
