Tay-Sachs malady- is a metabolic hereditary disorder often seen of people of Central and Northern Europe. This kind of malady affect the central nervous system by an abnormal accumulation of fat in the brain...This anomaly occurs in the first year of a little child's life.... Evolution of the malady - Even if little babies seem to be normal when they are born with this malady, but motor skills deteriorate gradually and appear nervous crises...In advanced cases appear even paralysis and blindness....resulting finally with the little one death...uff. The risck of transmission of this malady- A baby will be ill of Tay-Sachs only if both parents are "host" of the gene... Treatment of Tay-Sachs-Unfortunately there is no such of treatment....The doctors can only help the ill child with drug therapy to mitigate pain.... P.S -Scientists people are doing research to find a cure for this disease....let's wish them good luck and to hope that no little baby will die anymore of this cruel malady...uff.
