I had some important files on my memory card but I discovered the memory card wont open on my phone so I decided to open it on a laptop I found out it wont open except being formatted. The question is how do I recover the files on it if formatted. Thanks.

after formatting its impossible to recover anything because formatting=deleting all files

You can try Recuva , though I think it will be tough. But I will say do not format. is the card password protected?

Try to fix d card using chkdsk utility..after tat try to open the card thru 'cmd' n copy files to ur local drive..
