How to Take a Sauna
From the ancient Romans, to traditional Japanese to most health and community centers come the health benefits of saunas. Skin is the largest organ of the body and here is an easy way to take care of it.

Take a shower to remove bacteria that can reproduce quickly in hot environments. Don't wash yourhair, you will do it later. Make sure to dry yourself well.

Enter the sauna and stay in for approximately 10-15 minutes .

Get out of the sauna, take a shower, and take a brisk walk .

Take another cold shower, starting with your legs, then your arms, thenstep under the shower completely .

Submerge yourself in the cold pool if there is one or rub your arms and upper bodywith ice cubes if provided .

Rest for at least 20 minutes before re-entering the sauna . You should feel warm and relaxed, but not hot or sweaty. During this timeyou can also take a warm foot bath.

Re-enter the sauna for about10-15 more minutes .

In all you should do three sauna cycles complete with walks, cold showers/baths and rest .

Shave your legs to get a close shave and washyour face since your pores are open.

Make your sauna experience short and intense, it´s better to stay on the middle or top bench for 10 minutes than to stay on the lowest bench for 20 minutes.
