The Times of India reports that retailers are now selling the recently launched Nokia Lumia 510. The low- end device is reported to be available for INR 9,999 (*183) without a SIM card. Nokia's official website in India also has the Lumia 510 as being on sale, but with the slightly higher price of INR 10,499.
The device features a 800MHz Snapdragon S1 processor, 256MB RAM, a 5-megapixel camera (no front- facing), a 1300 mAh battery and 4GB internal memory. Those specs are very much in line with its low-cost sibling, the Lumia 610. However, 510 has a larger 4-inch WVGA 800x480 display.
The Lumia 510 runs the Windows Phone 7.5 Mango operating system but should be upgraded to Windows Phone 7.8. The device comes in red, yellow, cyan, white and black variants. Nokia Lumia 510 owners will still be able to enjoy Nokia's impressive suite of Windows Phone apps, including Nokia Transport, Nokia Maps and Nokia Drive, as well as Microsoft's Office Mobile apps.
