Music and song is such a wonderful gift. Some animals “sing” as well, if you think of the birds, but real singing as a message on a melody with harmony, is a human ability – one we share with the angels. We should sing about the praise and gratitude we feel towards God. There should always be music in our lives, of which music for God should be a major part. It so often helps us to express what is in our hearts, when our hearts haven’t got the words. You will remember a song like you will never, ever remember a sermon! See, I should have been a singer
