Nokia C3-00 s40 phone
I was trying my best to set the packet data i.e. Internet/gprs setting for my colleague, she have Nokia C3-00 s40 phone. I tried in setting the connectivity and configuration sections, cant seems to work her gprs. It always appear "temporary network problem" and "link not available" error messages in its default nokia browser. I, myself using s60 phone dont much about s40 phone, i was following the access point setting in my phone. Her WLAN is working but cant download if she use opera mini because appearing the error messages i just stated. Help in this matter please anyone?

Basically her gprs isnt working. I tried connecting to wap by selecting the homepage directly it appear that error messages within seconds. So i tried her WLAN via opera mini, she can surf the internet, i tried to download instead at 2 different sites, it appear that error messages when tried to download. So with WLAN she can surf internet but not downloading. I didnt try at 2wap. ZALAND: i got this problem with my x2-02 then i contact to operator nd ask him 4 configurations of nokia 6300 nd now its working... But opera is still not working!
the operator here dont want to set the gprs setting for us anymore, they want us to go to phone shop but the nearby phone shop here didnt know how to set these kind of phone, s40 phone.

u better contact ur network operator for manual settings and just select access point 1. I am saying this on the basis of my phone coz i have never used s40.
MAHESH_K: Sis did u check both the setting one is browser settings n the other.....settings>conectivity settings>cofiguration settings! n select the access point as default!
yes i checked the setting at connectivity and configuration section, i activated her new access point i made and i set personal configuration as default -linda-: my colleague's phone operator is dst group. I know you never heard of this operator as it only available here. I want both wap and gprs to work on her phone.

I tried to search settings on google but its all coming in other language and not in English...
So just go to google and search " s40 wap settings for dst group of network" and same for gprs also.

tried googling it already before i ask here. Didnt have much for my country. Tried many times for my colleague already very frustrating. Was hoping there are people will know how to set it and lets not consider which phone operator she is using.
The best thing to do is creat your personal settings by knowing the access point. Try talking to the operator and ask them the details.
Is not there a way to get the configuration via sms which can be saved?
