If the person who killed 76 people in Norway was a Muslim,
the
Press would have declared him as
terrorist.
For now though, he is just an
'Assailant ', 'Attacker' (Reuters),
'Gunman' (BBC, CNN ). 
Looks like
'Terrorist ' is a name reserved for Muslims?
The US Dept of State calls it an
'Act of Violence', Not an 'Act of
Terrorism'.

That's inccoret. He doesn't belongs to any terrorist org or any terrorist group so its not suprising to see media it as act of violence.., also there is no terrorist ideology behind the attact. And you igored the fact that initially news media called it terrorist attack. I am not saying western news media always right but in this case they or any other news media cant call it terrorist attack. I request u to read asian-arab news media reporting on this issue. Even they not calling it terrorist attack
It is very unfair and very disappointing how some people see muslims that are forced to act violent to protect themselves and their family as terrorism. And more unfortunate when the doers of the violence are not muslims, they won't call it as the act of terrorism. It is sad how some people always want to emphasize the small violent doing of the muslims yet hide the biggest violence of those who are not muslims. I keep asking myself why are they so against the muslims? What have the muslims done to them that they attack us?

At least the tamils in our country are working on unity with the rest of th country, and the Sinhalese are slowly, but surely getting rid of the "all tamils are terrorists" bullshyt.

The fact it appears he attacked alone without any group makes him a lone assailant, however it was still a terrorist act he committed and I agree with you all that they are not reporting this guy as he clearly is.
