I wrote this as it came to mind. It's strange that such a poem would suddenly come to mind, but I have heard that the heart is a fickle thing. It speaks of a couple's life and their love. Hello my love I see you there Hiding your eyes behind your hair Letting the strands fall across your face Hiding it from my searching gaze Hello my love I hear you near Melodies caressing my yearning ears Captivated by every note you sing Drawing me closer to hold you again Hello my love I'll hold you soon Kiss those lips that sing such tunes Held close within each others eyes Bathed in a light they cannot hide Hello my love we are here To share our dreams, to share our fears With this life we call our own We will harvest the fruits of what we've sown Hello my love, why the tears? They may be gone, but I am here Your heart is strong and they have grown They remember they have a home Their lives will glisten like your eyes They will know the love that we have Their lives will carry them through sun and storm They will seek shelter in this home To try again when rain is done See my love they have grown Proud and tall they stand alone We guided them and they shone Now our lives have reached the seas Calm and welcoming so very serene We will smile in love and memory Lost together in our reveries Remembering times when the rain would fall Only to turn into a crystal hall Shining with the light of the sun's fall Laughs and sorrows that came with those tomorrows Only to fade away before the love we harbored Life gave us a journey and we prevailed And now we wait for Heaven's Hail ♥
