smiley Lab humans do exist . . . Occasionaly, students earn smiley by being test persons for a potential medication which is still in the process of development. Would U take pharmaceutic products which effects are not entirely predictable for the sake of getting paid for it?

Those people don't live in poverty. They could live in any European country where nobody starves etc. They don't need the smiley to survive.

Now that's the first topic in my entire life which has direct relevance to me smiley
I being the owner of a pharmaceutical company, i understand how important these clinical trials are for testing a particular drug newly discovered and for that we need a subject/agent who would volunteer to let us administer the drug on them. They are heavily paid for this and in return we get the exact results of the drug. The subject is kept in 24 hours surveillance along with all possible facilities including medical checkups, the expenses of which are all borne by the company. Without this activity, no new drug can be tested and commercially formulated to make reliable medicines which all you at some point of time use to heal yourself from various ailments. So again, no job is good or bad. Everything keeps some relevance.

I would if I had a life threatening illness. I would want to prevent others from having to go though it.
