Hellhounds Hellhounds are dogs used by Crossroad Demons to drag souls down to Hell. They are invisible to everyone who doesn't have a contract with a crossroads demon. Hellhounds are aggressive, violent dogs that can and do serve demons. They commonly appear to kill a person who has made a deal with a Crossroads Demon allowing the person's soul to be harvested by hell. In the days proceeding the end of a person's time, they will appear to the victim in dreams. The person will also hallucinate, and be able to see the true face of demons when they are possessing humans. powers and Abilities Enhanced speed Enhanced senses Invisibility (to all but the one being attacked) Weaknesses Salt, Goofer Dust, or the Devil's Shoe String - to keep hellhounds at bay by as they won't cross it. Demon-Killing Knife - a special type of knife that can kill demons, it can kill hellhounds too. Salt, Iron nails, and explosives - can kill hellhounds. The Colt - a special gun Angel Blade/Sword - an angel's blade/sword can kill a hellhound. Death's Scythe - it can kill a hellhound. Hellhounds Facts They can be used as attack dogs, not just for claiming a person's soul after a deal. Hellhounds are invisible to humans. It is said once they have the scent of a person they won't stop until they catch them. Hellhounds are sometimes used to hunt down renegade demons who might pose a threat to their handlers Hellhounds can severely injure and quite possibly drag demons back down to hell.
