Physics practicals alternative A (Q1) apparatus :retort stand,spiral spring,wooden box,meter rule,slotted weight,step clock,pointer;quest 1 procedures (i)set up the aparatus as shown above (ii)read and record the length,L,of the spring (iii)place a mass of 200g on the hanger(iv)read and record the new length,L,of the spring(v)determine the extension of the spring e(vi)set the system into small verticall oscillation measure and record the time for 10 complet oscillatiom(vii)determine the period t of the oscillation and evaluate Tsquare(viii)repeat the procedure for 4 other values of 400g,600g,800g,1000g and tabulate ur readings(ix)plot a graph of e against tsquare(x)determine the slope of the graph (xii)pls this number contain somd terms which i cant write with my fone(xiii)state 2 precaution taken to ensure accurate result(14)state hooks law of an elastic meter(15)define young modolus and force constant.
