The question is
find the height of communication satellite.[given G=6.67*10raise to -11,Mas of earth=6*10raise to 24kg,radius of earth=6400km ]. Be kind enuf to attach the page on which u have solved. Or explain here. Thank you

For the communication satellite, T=24 hours = 86400sec. G and M are given, Substituting these values in the formula, we get
r^3=(T^2 * G * M)/ 4*pi^2
(86400^2) x6.67x10^-11 x 6 x 10^24/(4*(3.14^2))
r^3 = 7.542*10^22
r=42.25 *10^6 m
If h is the height of the satellite above the surface of the earth and R is the radius of the earth,
r = R + h
h = r-R
Now R = 6400 km = 6.4 x 10^6 m
h =r-R = 42.25 x 10^6 - 6.4x10^6 = 35.85 x 106 m
= 35850 kms
