They once lived a lonely old woman, Mrs Grace, who was found guilty of being a witch. Sir Steve the own of Eagles hall where the woman lives at that time, described how she used to climb into the palm-tree outside his bedroom every time there was full moon. One day Sir steve followed her home, but she disappeared and when he knocked on her door, she came downstairs in her night clothes looking sleepy. He and the villages agreed that it was certain she did these things by magic and so she was hanged. Before she died, she fought and shouted and her last words were: 'there will be guests at the hall.
That evening as Sir steve was returning from work, he saw an animal with that has more than four legs moving towards the palm tree; he shook his head, i must be tired he thought to himself. After all, what animal has more than four legs? He went to his house that to sleep.
In the morning sir steve was found laying on his bed dead and completely black. Beside his bed were his bible wide open with Luke, chapter 8: cut it down were the words in it.
After the funeral of Sir steve, his son decided that the palm tree must be cut down.
That night as Sir steve's son went to his fathers room to sleep, he found the bible with these words, 'You shall look for me in the morning, and I shall not be here.
Sir steve son did'ent live to see the tree cut down.

When the neighbours and villages heard the news, they decided to cut the tree down.
The gardner put his ladder against the tree and climbed up to look inside. As he held a light over the hole, his face suddenly looked so terrified that severil of the people watching from below screamed and turned to run. The gardner himself fell off the ladder, dropping his lamp down into the hollow tree which quickly caught fire. As the fire started burning the crowd saw in horror about 4 animals in shape and size of spider about the same size as a mans head covered all over with grey hair burning in the fire.
At last the fire burn out and the crowd found old Mrs Grace bones in it.
