A pengiun is a water bird that can't fly. It has webbed feet and wings that looks like flippers.it wings flippers for underwater swimming.

[b]many pengiuns are found or live in the icy waters in or near antartica. Pengiuns are a type of flightless bird that spends most of its life in the sea. They seldom visit land except to raise their young ones. Pengiuns have short legs and tall, torpedo-shaped bodies. On land they are able to stand upright,and because of their stature and body build they walk with a waddle. They may appear awkward, but pengiuns actually walk about as fast as humans.they can also climb rocky shores by hopping from rock to rock. Some pengiuns travel over ice and snow by tobogganing [sliding on their bellies] but they travel best by swimming,pengiuns swim below the water surface,they leap above the surface for a quick breath of air,the pengiuns go deeper into the water than any bird.some species are able to reach nearly 900 feet (275 meters)below the water.they can also hold their breathe for up to 20minutes.[b]
pengiuns will not cross warm ocean waters;therefore they are found in nature south of the equator.the Galapagos pengiuns lives the farthest north, near the equator in the cold waters around the islands. Some other pengiuns make their home among the islands near new zealand and Australia.. They are also found in the coast of south america and southern Africa,and greater number of them are found in the icy waters near Antartica
