Verily We have inspired you (o muhammed) as We inspired Nuhu (Noah) and the prophets after him; We also inspired Ibrahim (Abraham), Ismail (Ishmael), Ishaq (isaac), Yaqub (Jacob), and al-asbat (the twelve sons of yaqub (jacob)), isa (Jesus), Ayub (Job), Yunus (Jonah), Harun (Aaron) and Sulaiman (Solomon) and to Dawud (David) We gave the Zabur (Psalms).
And Messengers We have mentioned to you before and Messengers We have not mentioned to you- and to Musa (Moses) Allah spoke directly.
Messengers are bearers of good news well as of warning in order that mankind should have no plea against Allah after the Messengers.
All is Ever-Powerful, All-Wise.
But Allah bears witness to that which He sent down (the Qur'an) unto you (o muhammed). He sent it down with His Knowledge and the angels bear witness. And Allah is All-Sufficient as a Witness.

He begets not nor is He begotten
And none is like Him
It (the Qur'an) is not a forged statement but a confirmation of Allah's existing books. (the psalms of david, the old testatment of moses, gospel of jesus) and a detailed explanation of everything and a guide and mercy for the people who believe.

We send down the Qur'an that which is healing and mercy for the believers, but it does not increase the wrongdoers except in loss.

Allah is He who Created the heavens and the earth and sent down the water from the clouds, then brought forth with it fruits as a sustenance for you and He made the ships subservient to you that they may run their courses in the sea by His command, and He has made the rivers subservient to you. And He has made the sun subservient to you and the moon pursuing their courses, and He has made subservient to you the night and day.
