but whats more amazing is how the seeds start growing. Rooigrass seeds sit at a right angle, when the first rain comes along it wakes the seed up and it starts to twirl. This 'drills' the seed into hard ground. A yellowwood tree seed needs to be eaten and pooped by a cape parrot or similar bird before the seed will start to grow.
