Well is there mini sd and micro sd two different types of cards for mobiles? Is these cards also have the problem of not being able to format by mobiles (sometimes) ? Then these are suppose to be costly? If all the answer is yes then i consider a big problem as these micro/mini sd cards are the backbone of most modern os9.2 phones. Like n95/n82/n91 etc. I cant imagine n95 8gb card getting corrupted and also not being able to format case happens simultaneously!

Nokia N95/N81/N91 comes wid internal FLASH MEMORY. They dnt have any card slot, neither do they use mmc. I used N91 for 2 yrs but its flash memory of 4 gb never posed any serious problem.

You jus do a complete format or hard format for nokia's its *,3, grab (dial) when switching on for bout 10sec

Not only os 9.2 but almost every multemedia phone have a card slot these days. So if u r so concerned about it, stick wid small phones which dsnt uses mmc smiley

I had a n6600,uses mmc. that phone is broken now cause mmc gave me loads of problems. i have htc now that uses mini sd, so far no problems and i lots of software on it.

If u need pc software for format memory card Go to download N open zip then search formater or MMCmedic

Wel nt dat xpensiv nowadays. I prefer the transcend brand 4mobiles . i use to format them 1st on pc using a card reader and den to my mobile

U r simply scared. Yup dey r 2 diffrnt types of card. I used a micro sd card in my N6233 for a year n did format it wid ease lotsa tyms. My dad is presently using an N6300 wid 1GB micro sd card n i'd format it thrice widout getting it corupted! smiley
