I believe that the most inexpensive yet the most valuable gift we can give another human being is our ears because by listening we are being drawn into an important aspect of living which is sharing. When we share, we are not asking for advice, we are not asking other people to solve our problems for us, we are not asking them to analyze our feelings. We are only asking them to be there, to listen and to care.
