I was a member of the Cuddebackville Fire Department as a volunteer firefighter as well as fire police for 19 yrs. But unfortunaly and sadly, I had to leave cause I moved out of the area. I, however, wanted to join the Port Jervis Fire Department (both in New York State and all volunteer), their was a compation test I had to take. Unfortunaly, I failed this "so-called" test witch is illegal in their bylaws and never in written documentation! I had to go to other sorces to fight it, but had no luck. Now, I'm fighting it by going to the Human Rights! Boy do they hate me now! I, however, am not blaming the firefighters at all, but the Port Jervis Fire Dept's councile and part of the councile at City Hall! Matter of fact, I went to City Hall and spoke up underneath my behalf lots of times! And I'm not giving up the fight at all! Matter of fact, this has been going since 2009! I will fight it until the fat lady sings! But the fat lady haven't came out of her dressing room. So it not over yet!
